Polynucleotides for Hair Growth

Polynucleotides are "DNA building block" biostimulators.  They use Nucleotides which are instructions for proteins to press the restart button on cells to make them work more effectively.  Imaging an old factory being given detailed instructions on how to perform optimally and all the tools and resources needed to do it.

This is a new modality to the hair growth arena, having only come to market in May 2023, but the science and clinical evidence goes back decades showing this is a safe and effective treatment. For hair loss, polynucleotides are an emerging treatment. Our appraisal of the science has examined the scientific evidence available and we are satisfied that polynucleotides offer a plausible biological mechanism, there is no concerning safety data, nor biological plausibility of safety concerns and early data shows promise in effectiveness. Only one study so far has directly compared polynucleotide treatment for androgenetic alopecia with PRP treatment for androgenetic alopecia so data is limited - but in the study polynucelotdes and PRP appeared equally effective in improving hair growth.
